Do you suffer with pain in your feet? We are now one of the few clinics in the country offering foot joint and soft tissue mobilisation.

Our feet are made of 26 bones, consisting of 33 joints which all work together to support our skeleton and allow us to move and walk. Over time or due to our natural genetic make up, our body may become dis-aligned, resulting in pressures being spread unevenly throughout are body. This, in turn can cause pain as one joint may become over used, and another not used enough. As our natural defence, our body stiffens up to pain and we try and compensate by using other parts of our body instead and these joints become tight and in active. Foot mobilisation involves a series of small movements of the 33 joints of the foot, in order to help release tension and remind your brain that these joints need to be used. Coupled with massage of the soft tissues surrounding the area to encourage blood flow and healing, exercises, taping and sometimes orthotics, this is a brilliant and revolutionary technique to help deal with pain without resorting to drastic surgery. Common conditions which it is very affective for is bunion pain and heel pain.
