Compleet Feet Podiatry Open – We have now been given the green light to re-open all clinics for non-essential podiatry treatments. In my view all podiatry treatments are essential. It does not take long for nails to become long and ingrow. For corns to be uncomfortable. A slight achy foot to become a limp. A niggling knee or back pain to become debilitating. A singular verruca to multiply. A discoloured nail to become a full blown fungal infection. I could go on. Podiatry is primarily about preventative medicine; treating the subject in ‘foot’ before it becomes a potential problem.

Foot health has never been more important than it is now. People need to get out of ‘lock-down’ to restore mental and physical well-being. Healthy comfortable feet are crucial for this. Feet are often maligned, disregarded, taken forgranted so this is a call to say ‘All Feet are Important’ so look after them. We at Compleet Feet are ready to help. Podiatrists have a big role to play in helping to take the strain off the NHS. We have no protracted waiting lists and can treat most lower limb foot related problems. The public are often unaware of what our scope of practice is. We do far more than basic chiropody. At Compleet Feet our mission statement has always been to find answers to problems.

Both of our clinics are COVID safe, complying with stringent infection control for patient safe-guarding. Podiatry does not produce viral aerosols and  a safe distancing can easily be maintained during treatment. Patients are advised to wear masks as an extra  precautionary  measure, but we do provide protective screens ( see photograph above).

From 15th June the public will be able to buy specialist footwear from us, but we will not be encouraging large gatherings of people to browse. Our aim is to keep the viral load down on our premises. We want you to feel confident about stepping out to us and more importantly stepping forward with your lives.

Thank you for supporting our business as we do our best to support you.

Good Afternoon Margaret I have just changed the picture on this post as the other one of a green traffic light man broke copyrights and I got a huge fine this week!!!! Innocent mistake. As a practice getting back on it’s feet during the COVID crisis has been exceptionally hard. Reached a climax this week with one thing or another! When you come in next week all will be explained. So very very sorry for any inconvenience caused. You genuinely are one of my favourite patients!
