We offer  Sandpiper, DB Wider Fit, and Dr Comfort  for the wider or swollen foot type. If we do not have it in-store we can order it in at a small charge to cover postage and packaging. We advise customers to  be active for some time before buying. This to allows for additional swelling which could affect fitting.

We offer Fidelio, Sandpiper for the wider forefoot and bunions. Fidelio have cleverly in-built soft stretch panels to accommodate pronounced bunions. Other shoes can be stretched and altered to accommodate bunions and hammer toes.

We offer Joya, Birkenstock, Vionic, and OnFoot Flexi-Lite for forefoot pain (metatarsalgia) and arch pain.

OnFoot Flexi-Lite

Super light and easy to wear shoes with cushioning and supportive inserts. Can accommodate orthotic insoles and can be stretched as a shoe for bunions and other toe deformities.

The quicker and sooner tendo-achilles, heel or plantar fasciitis is addressed and treated the faster it will go. If left untreated it can become chronic and debilitating. Joya

Innovative designed soles to allow the foot to naturally roll through the gait cycle. Gently lifts the main  arch up. This  takes mechanical and dynamic weight-bearing stresses off the heel and plantar fascia structures. It is a functional shoe. Joyas initiate what is termed ‘active gait’ as opposed to ‘passive gait’ caused by standard footwear.

Vionic footwear

Have either  in-built or removable 4 degree corrective orthotic insole. By controlling the in-rolling, lowering  of the main inner arch stresses can be reduced on the plantar fascia and heel.

Birkenstock

Anatomically contoured cork footbeds to support sole of foot. For the higher arch type we have the heeled Birkenstock  Papilloma range. Take stresses off the plantar fascia and tendo-achilles.

A Heel Can Help

It is generally assumed that if an individual has lower back pain they should only wear flat shoes. Not true, this depends on foot type. Often our podiatrists will recommend a small heel up to 1 3/4″. At Compleet Feet we do stock a few brands with a small heel exactly for these cases. Flat is not always best.

Knee pain has a complex biomechanics. One of the main reasons for knee pain is internal knee rotation. This is due to the feet rolling in during the gait cycle. It can be controlled and prevented by wearing some form of orthotic control. Orthotics support the arch and  adjust alignment of the foot/ heel when standing and walking. Tipping the foot out by a specific amount of degrees  will naturally bring the arch up when walking. We recommend either a Vionic shoe or a Joya.
